And this is just typical typical development under the umbrella of one brand. The Ingot glitch is still there and you can exploit gold as you could in all previous updates. It hasn't just brought back the Unity Bug in Valhalla it has brought back a whole load of issues. Maybe it’s a studio issue as well, seeing as this was from Montreal, who knows. I know it seems like I’m being overly harsh on the game and I get that there will be development issues when working from home but coming back from a year break from AC I thought the game would’ve been at least more compelling, instead it feels like a downgrade to Odyssey, I connected more with Kassandra, some side missions I absolutely loved and found hilarious and most of all, it was a lot more stable in terms of bugs and glitches considering how huge the game was.

That was my mentality, like I felt the need to complete the area before moving on but the activities in those areas are the same as the ones before it so the game is very repetitive.the armour sets from the helix store are more compelling than the main game ones making the vanilla game ones almost redundant and pointless to obtain.I don’t need mastery points from completing the various mysteries that award ones because I almost one shot everything so the aspiration to obtain them just isn’t there (EVEN on very hard) also side note, don’t even get me started on the Cairn mysteries, whoever thought those were fun needs a serious evaluation on what that word actually means.

Will we get back to the AC Odyssey on PS4 Pro problem, where the console's fan would take off like a bat out of hell while you were in the menus, so much worse that it was while you were actually playing the game? I went in after the patch was installed, and sure enough, there it was: screwed up facial animations.Īnd the "Beodoricsworth Raid not completing" bug is still there. Keeps you on your toes, I’ll give it that. Quite a few times I’ve mistakenly thought the game has glitched but a quick google has showed me what to do next. There are so many instances like this, where the game gives no indication that the mission isn’t complete or why. It would have been quite easy to miss if I hadn’t read the letters at the spring. But the Blind guy was quite a way away and I only found him by chance because I followed the main road/path. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Lame guy because he was quite close to the mission marker.
Some of the side missions are so vague - the miracle spring mission doesn’t give you any markers for example.
Had to restart two times which fixed the issue, thank god. The mission where you have to help the Blind man and the Lame man to the miracle spring (error : ‘you have to become anonymous.’) and the mission with the King on the hill. Unfortunately, I still encountered two bugs within the first hour. My last save was 24th Dec, so there have been a few weeks and a big patch (1.1.1) since then.
